I am LOVING the new casual, chic, yet "put together" Look!
All of the things that I am listing I would personally wear together. These pieces can be pulled off in one look or worn separately.
My MUST HAVES in the next few weeks (You have been seeing these trends for awhile now) are as followed...
1. Boyfriend Jeans: The jeans pictured are by Current/Elliot and have been in every magazine and on every celeb! They look so comfortable and surprisingly look great with heels. A great flat or gladiator sandal also complements the style! I have yet to find the perfect pair for my body BUT I am on the look out! I would wear these jeans with a simple racer back tank or a fitted low v-neck tee. Keep it simple and sass the outfit up with accessories!
2. Fringe Handbags: This is definitely a trend and is still very important for Fall 09. It hits the GLOBAL trend that we are seeing on the runway! The bag pictured is by Juicy Couture and is under $300! The bag that I am purchasing (or might have already by the time you read this) is Nordstrom bag that is $148!! It has a convertible strap so it can be worn as a hobo, long shoulder or cross body! So many ways to wear the bag. The bag I want has a little less Fringe detailing!
3. The Gladiator Sandal: I am loving that flats are so in and so versatile. I am a HUGE lover of Flip Flops but I appreciate a fantastic flat that can be dressed up or down. The first shoe is the Chancee by Steven by Steve Madden and it is around $80 bucks. The second is the Boogle by Steve Madden and they are currently $49.90 and 15% off the original price. I am leaning towards the cheaper pair for two reasons...I heart the studding and the suede. They look more comfortable. I really like the whole "cage look" tie in of the first pair. What is a girl to do??? Buy both? Hmmmm......
4. The linen scarf: I already have 4 of these scarves. They go with EVERYTHING and are really cheap...32 dollars!! I am not found of how it is pictured. This scarf looks better looped and showing off the fringe in a more urban or "street scarf" way. I would pick a jewel toned color to off set the metallic shoe. I could honestly wear a scarf every day!!!*** The "street scarf" look is worn closer to the neck, the fabric is draped to look more triangular against the chest. It is not so preppy as the look pictured***
